The goalkeeper coaching programme is delivered by Brighton and Hove Albion Soccer Schools specialist goalkeeping coaches. Players work on skills specific to their position such as ball handling, positioning and shot stopping. Drills and practices focus on footwork and agility, while tactics on distribution and one-on-one situations are put to the test in small sided games at the end of each session. The on-field training is supported by workshops on all aspects of athlete development delivered by sports scientists.
Our professional English language teachers use a customised curriculum based on the CLIL approach used in top schools worldwide. Practising communication, reading and writing skills, students will put their learning into context with exercises such as researching sports-related media and creating press releases. Every players receives a detailed weekly report and completion certificate to take home. With an average of 12 students per class, students get excellent individual feedback.
The camp is based at Lancing College, a leading private school on the south coast of England just 15 minutes from Brighton. The school is set in extensive grounds with panoramic views out to the sea and has a long history of sporting and academic excellence.
