Meeting like-minded young people from across the world, campers make new friends-for-life in a truly international experience.

Coaching

Our experienced, energetic and motivating coaches from across the world will work on every aspect of the game in up to 32 hours of tennis coaching each week. Grouped by ability and working on a 1:6 coaching ratio, coaches use demonstration, practice and feedback to get the best out of players. Coaching sessions focus on skills such as spin, shot selection, power and agility, challenging players at every level – technically, tactically and physically.

Supporting the on-court training is a series of workshops designed to develop players’ psychology and all-round athleticism. Topics such as –

·      Fitness

·      Nutrition and hydration

·      Physiology and psychology

·      Tactics and match preparation

Results

Players are equipped with the skills and insight to continue their development as a tennis player long after the camp has finished, elevating their game to the next level. Each player gets a one-to-one review with their coach at the end of the camp and receives an individual coaching report to take home.

Excursions

Real Tennis Experience

In weeks starting: 2nd, 16th, 30th July and 13th August

Players will try their hand at real tennis - the original racket sport game either at Hampton Court Palace's Royal Tennis Court, where Henry VIII played 500 years ago or at Petworth House, a palatial 17th century manor house in Sussex. The game is quite different to today's tennis with heavy balls and wooden rackets.

Wimbledon All England Club Tour*

In weeks starting: 9th, 23rd July and 6th August

In an exclusive tour, players will visit the Wimbledon Stadium and grounds, exploring the traditions, triumphs, sights and sounds that have made Wimbledon the most coveted title in tennis since it was founded in 1868.

London Tour and Niketown

On the middle Sunday for all 13-night campers

13-night campers go on both excursion plus an extra trip to London where they will tour landmarks such as Buckingham Palace and Big Ben as well as visiting Niketown on Oxford Street.
