AIRPORT transfer SERVICE

transfer types

We now have two types of airport transfers available to book.

AIRPORT TRANSFER If your child is arriving and/or departing Heathrow or Gatwick Airport on a flight during the times listed below, we can accommodate them on our airport transfer shuttle service. If this is the case please book an Airport Transfer.

PARENT AIRPORT DROP-OFF/COLLECTION If you or another adult are dropping off and/or collecting your child at Heathrow or Gatwick Airport, please book a Parent Airport Drop-Off and/or Parent Airport Collection. The drop-off and collection times are listed below. For safety reasons, we cannot accommodate parent drop-offs or collections at any other time.

Please ensure you book the correct service based on the description above.

How it works

We have a dedicated team of staff located at selected airports on arrival and departure days.

ARRIVAL: Your child will be met by a member of our staff as they walk through to the arrivals hall. Our friendly staff will be holding a Nike Camps sign in a prominent position at the front of the arrivals area and your child will be escorted from this point from the airport to the camp venue. Depending on your child's flight time, there may be a short wait at the airport for other players to arrive during which time full supervision is given.

DEPARTURE: Our staff will help your child to check in at the airport. We can also make arrangements to transfer your child to the airline’s unaccompanied minor service if you check the unaccompanied minor box when booking the transfer.

Transfers must be booked at least four weeks before the start of the camp.

Selected airports

Transfers available to/from all camp venues from:

  • London Heathrow Airport (LHR) - £120.00 each way

  • London Gatwick Airport (LGW) - £120.00 each way

Please email transfers@eurosportscamps.com if you have any questions.

Hours of Operation

For airport transfers to or from LHR & LGW and camp venue:

  • Arrival Transfers: For flights arriving between 08:00 - 16:00 on Mondays

  • Departure Transfers: For flights departing between 11:00 - 18:00 Sundays

In the unlikely event that you are unable to arrange flights during these hours please email transfers@eurosportscamps.com and we may be able to arrange an out-of-hours transfer for an additional charge. Please note that we cannot accommodate out-of-hours transfers where players arrive at the camp after 11:00pm or need to leave the camp before 7:00am.

Unaccompanied Minor Service

We recommend using an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) or Airport Assistance service if your child is under 14 years old or is an inexperienced traveller. This service provides an airline staff member to supervise and escort your child during their flight and in the parts of the airport that are not accessible to our staff. Most airlines offer this service and some require you to use this service for children under a certain age so please check with the airline and pay applicable fees for both your inbound and outbound journey. If you have booked this service you must notify us in your transfer booking.

How to Book

First book your camp, then book flights with your chosen airline or travel agent, ensuring the flights arrives on the first day of the camp and depart on the last day of the camp within our transfer hours of operation. Only then should you book your transfers through the extras section of the MANAGE YOUR BOOKING page. Please have your flight details and your camp order number, which can be found in your confirmation invoice email.

If the camp is less than 4 weeks away you will need to contact our office to arrange an airport transfer. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee we will be able to accept transfers booked less than 4 weeks in advance.

Visa Support Letters

We are accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education, enabling us to provide children attending our camps with a visa support letter. Nationals and citizens of some countries require a visa for entry to the UK. If your child is a national or citizen of one of these countries you will need to apply for a child visitor visa. To check if your child requires a visa please visit the UK Government Visa and Immigration website. To assist you in your application for a visa we can supply you with a visa support letter for your child, confirming their attendance on our camps.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer visa support letters to parents or other adults visiting the United Kingdom.

How do I get a visa support letter?

Once you've made your booking we can issue you a visa support letter by email, post or courier (this will depend on your country's visa requirements - please check with the relevant authority in your country whether you require an original version of the letter). Please allow one week for this process plus extra for posting time.

It is your responsibility to ensure you apply for a visa in plenty of time for your journey to the UK. If you have any queries about visa support letters please contact us and our staff will be able to advise you. You can order a Visa Support letter in the extras section of the Manage Your Booking page. It helps us if you have your camp order number ready. This can be found on your confirmation invoice email.
