Charterhouse’s rich sporting history includes being involved in founding the modern game of football. The word soccer was reportedly first used by a Charterhouse pupil who went on to become an international football player. Accommodation
Accommodation is in boarding houses around the main school buildings. There is a mix of single and shared bedrooms with shared bathrooms. Please note we cannot guarantee any particular bedroom. We allocate bedrooms based on sport, age, gender and room share requests.

3 meals a day and an evening snack, including vegetarian options. Most dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice.
