About Play It Forward

Play It Forward was created to make a positive impact within local communities, providing young people across inner-city London with access to our camps.

Working in partnership with select local charities, we offer beneficiaries the opportunity to join our sports camps. Our aim is to give back to local communities by providing access to quality coaching, international experiences, and lifelong friendships for children, while also offering professional development and mentorship opportunities for community coaches.

We collaborate with local charity partners to better understand the communities they serve, learn more about their valuable work, and help raise awareness of our camps.

Following the initial consultation, partner charities nominate suitable beneficiaries from within their communities who they feel would benefit most from our programmes. These could be:

  • Children between the ages of 10-17 to participate in our camps as players.

  • Community coaches aged 18+ who can gain valuable experience by shadowing members of our coaching team.

Once participants have been selected, we work closely with the charity to help prepare them for the experience and support them throughout their time on camp. Our aim is to provide an enriching experience that empowers local people to continue making a positive impact within their own communities.

Case Study: BIGKID Foundation

BIGKID is an award-winning charity based in South London, on a mission to end youth violence through their mentoring, community engagement and leadership programmes. For over 15 years, their programmes have targeted hard-to-reach young people, creating opportunities to play sport, make friends, improve their leadership skills and make positive life changes.

We had the opportunity to work alongside the team at BIGKID to support their work within the community. Together, we identified suitable participants for our camps by exploring the alignment between our programmes and the people they support.

In summer 2026, two players and two coaches from the BIGKID community will attend a one-week camp, participating in our football programme. We are proud to partner with BIGKID to support their valuable work and excited to welcome these participants to camp this summer.
