English classes focus on sports, engaging students’ personal interests to promote language learning in a fun and interactive environment. Using the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) model of English, qualified teachers infuse language learning into lively and active classes where sports-based projects, discussions and activities take centre stage.

Lily Owsley - Hockey Ambassador
Lily made her England debut at just 19 and has spent more than a decade representing England and Great Britain at the highest level. Her achievements include Olympic gold in Rio, Olympic bronze in Tokyo, and a pivotal role in Team GB’s 2015 European Championship triumph - where she scored the winning goal against the Netherlands.
As our Hockey Ambassador, Lily brings the insight and expertise of a Team GB standout and UK Sport World Class Programme athlete. Drawing on the elite coaching and performance environment that shaped her journey, she now helps inspire and develop the next generation of players on camp.

David Ames - Hockey Ambassador
David is one of Great Britain’s most experienced hockey players, with more than a decade of international caps and multiple Olympic appearances. A central figure in GB hockey’s recent success, he has consistently delivered leadership and skill at the highest level.
As Hockey Ambassador, David brings this wealth of experience to camp, helping young athletes grow through his blend of elite playing knowledge and genuine passion for coaching.
Hockey Pro Sessions
Our hockey coaching curriculum is designed by Olympic and European gold medallists, bringing expertise and experience from the very highest level of the game. Combining technical development with competitive matchplay, our camps give players the chance to refine their skills and apply them under pressure.
Players work on core technical skills such as dribbling, precise passing, drag-flicks, tackling, and shooting techniques, while also learning key tactical concepts like defensive positioning and attacking patterns. Every session encourages athletes to think and react like a professional player, putting their skills to the test in structured game scenarios.
Typical Day
Each day on camp is designed to balance high-intensity training with recovery and fun, ensuring players get the most out of their experience both on and off the pitch.

Our hockey summer camps are for boys and girls aged 11-17, and are open to players of all abilities. Upon arrival, players are assessed by our coaches and sorted into mixed coaching groups by age and ability, ensuring they are suitably challenged. Whatever their level, players will take part in high-energy coaching sessions twice a day, so they should be prepared for plenty of time on the pitch!
Playing surfaces at Radley College: Poraflex acrylic courts, grass and indoor courts off-site.

Players choosing the Total Hockey option benefit from up to 8 additional hours of workshops alongside their on-court training, covering key topics for young athletes such as match analysis, teamwork, nutrition, and more.
Those selecting Hockey + English enjoy up to 13 hours of language lessons taught by experienced teachers who use sport as the foundation for learning core skills. No matter which option players choose, everyone receives the same amount of coaching on the court.

Our hockey coaching sessions are carefully designed to match each player’s experience level and personal goals. Throughout the week, players will be challenged across every part of their game - from stick handling, passing accuracy, and first touch, to tackling, positioning, attacking play, and advanced 3D skills such as lifts, spins, and aerials. Players also develop their game intelligence through matchplay scenarios and all-round athletic conditioning. The week finishes with our popular tournament day - a chance to put new skills into practice, showcase progress, and enjoy the excitement of real competition.

Nike Hockey Camps are located at Radley College in the Oxford countryside. The field hockey camps run weekly in the summer months, and in 2026 run from 6th July to the 16th August.
Radley college is a beautiful and historic British private school set in over 800 acres of self-contained grounds. It’s the perfect location for our field hockey camps as it hosts a two hybrid astro hockey pitches.

1-week camp (6 nights): £1,995
2-week camps (13 nights): £3,990
