Nike Sports Camps Wrapped: 2025 Highlights
From incredible moments on the pitch to magic caught on camera, 2025 was a year we won’t forget. As we look back on another incredible summer at Nike Sports Camps, here’s our 2025 Wrapped – just a few of the highlights that made this year so special.
🏆 The moment that had everyone talking
When the Lionesses lifted the Euros trophy, it was a standout moment. The level of inspiration among our players was a reminder of why representation and belief matter so much in sport. With no fewer than 6 Chelsea players on the Lionesses squad, it proved once again that CFCW are at the pinnacle of women’s football. Girls on our Chelsea FC Camps experienced the high standards and winning mindset that define England’s leading women’s football club. As an ambitious young female footballer, camp was the place to be last summer.
🏐 Biggest new launch
On the topic of women’s sport, 2025 marked the very first year of our all-girls Nike Volleyball Camps, and what a debut it was. From day one, the girls brought the energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit, and it quickly became clear this was just the beginning of something special. When they weren’t smashing it on court, they were bonding in the dining hall or the boarding houses – check out this friendship challenge to see how our volleyballers went from teammates to best mates.
🙌 The unsung hero award goes to…
The welfare team! Throughout the highs and lows of camp, our welfare team were there - encouraging, supporting, and making sure every athlete felt happy, confident, and included. Whether it was pushing players to give their best, sharing a laugh between sessions, or being there when it mattered most, they made last summer truly amazing.
🏀 Clip of the summer
One moment. Perfect timing. Total harmony. We’ve replayed this one more often than we can count! The number of takes required to get the shot is testament to the resilience of our basketball players (and our social media team!).
🏑 Learning from the best
Hockey masterclasses with our amazing ambassadors - Lily Owsley and David Ames - gave players access to Olympic-level insight, advice, and inspiration. From sunny summer afternoons hearing Lily share her journey to Olympic gold, to bright mornings on the pitch perfecting aerials with David, these sessions became unforgettable highlights of the summer for our hockey players.
💃 Showstopping performances
Our weekly awards ceremonies came alive with incredible dance performances, where our dancers showcased confidence, creativity, and serious stage presence. These performances are always a firm favourite among campers and staff, and our dancers wrapped up each week on camp on a high.
🌅 Golden hour games
There are few things better than a football match played as the sun sets. This summer, the weather delivered countless golden evenings, complete with stunning backdrops, where players tested their skills in fast-paced, competitive matches. Despite having only known each other for a short time, our players came together seamlessly, showing outstanding teamwork and communication throughout.
🤝 Circles of trust
Every day on the Radley College tennis court began with a “circle of trust”, where our tennis players came together to connect as a team before an intense day of training. Led by our Tennis Director, Gill, these meaningful moments reminded everyone that camp is just as much about building friendships and a sense of community as it is about developing skills on the court.
